Squire Patton Boggs hires ex Walgreens Boots Alliance counsel


Squire Patton Boggs has appointed Kerry Lee as partner in its intellectual property and technology practice.

Lee previously worked as head of group intellectual property at Walgreens Boots Alliance.

He has significant experience in IP enforcement and ecommerce issues, focusing on multiple aspects of intellectual property including, trademarks, patents, designs, copyright and domain names.

At Walgreens Boots Alliance, Lee managed a portfolio of more than 2,000 trademarks, including brands such as Boots, Clearasil and Nurofen.

Lee commented: “I am delighted to be rejoining private practice at Squire Patton Boggs.”

He said: “The firm has an outstanding global client base that complements my experience in the retail and wholesale sectors. The global platform and outlook of Squire Patton Boggs was a big draw for me.”
