Weil, Gotshal & Manges promotes two IP counsel

Weil, Gotshal & Manges has made a round of 10 partner and nine counsel appointments, including two IP counsel.

Jacob Ebin and Robert Vlasis were promoted in the firm’s New York and Washington DC offices respectively.

Ebin covers a variety of commercial litigation matters, including antitrust, copyright, trademark, unfair competition and music licensing issues.

Vlasis focuses on patent litigation and has litigated 13 investigations at the US International Trade Commission.

He has experience working with technologies in the cellular and wireless communications industries, as well as smartphones, tablets, medical devices and wearable devices.
