Crowell & Moring hires litigation duo

Crowell & Moring has added Kent Goss and Valerie Goo as partners in its litigation group.

Goss and Goo are both experienced in commercial litigation and intellectual property matters and focus on trademark, copyright and trade secret disputes.

Angela Styles, chair of Crowell & Moring, said: “Kent Goss and Valerie Goo are highly respected trial lawyers and are a tremendous addition to the firm.”

“They have successfully tried dozens of cases to verdict and their combined experience, including on soft IP matters, will further strengthen our litigation capabilities on the West Coast.”

Jennifer Romano, co-chair of the firm’s litigation group, added: “Kent and Valerie add significant weight to our litigation bench in California.”

“They will strengthen the group’s capabilities to defend companies against unfair competition claims and consumer class actions. Kent and Valerie also will counsel clients navigating the false advertising law under the Lanham Act, the California Consumer Legal Remedies Act, and the Defend Trade Secrets Act, among others.”
