Bryan Cave expands German IP practice

Bryan Cave has expanded its German intellectual property practice with the addition of Dominik Weiß.

Weiß previously worked at Bock Legal, where he was associate partner.

He has joined Bryan Cave’s Hamburg team as counsel, where he will lead the IP team and advise clients on the effective enforcement of their rights, mainly in trademarks, unfair competition and design rights.

Weiß also advises on IT and ecommerce matters.

Managing partner of the Hamburg office, Eckart Budelmann, said: “IP and IT issues play an increasingly important role in corporate transactions.”

“Dominik Weiß is a very experienced counsel who will lead and coordinate the IP team in Germany.”
