Bristows boosts brands team


Bristows has added a nine new trademark and IP disputes attorneys to its brands team.

Simon Clark and Ian Gruselle both join the firm as partner from Berwin Leighton Paisner.

They will be joined by a team of seven, including a solicitor, two trademark attorneys, three paralegals and a secretary. The team will join Bristows on 1 May.

Clark is experienced in IP disputes with a particular focus on copyright, design rights and brands. Gruselle focuses on trademarks and portfolio management.

Joint managing partners at Bristows, Marek Petecki and Theo Savvides, said: “We are delighted to welcome Simon Clark, Ian Gruselle and their team to Bristows. “

They added: “Simon brings over 20 years of IP litigation experience and will add to our significant bench strength across brands, designs, copyright and digital disputes.”
