Hogan Lovells promotes three
Hogan Lovells has promoted three intellectual property attorneys to partner as part of 29 new elevations globally.

Alexander Klicznik, Joseph Raffetto and Jane Seager will be promoted across the firm’s Düsseldorf, Washington DC and Paris offices, respectively.

Klicznik’s practice focuses on patent law in telecommunications, pharmaceuticals, and computer hardware and software. He is also a lecturer at the University of Düsseldorf.

Raffetto covers a broad range of IP issues, including litigation, commercialisation and prosecution.

He has represented clients before the US Patent and Trademark Office, the International Trade Commission, and has acted as patent counsel on multibillion-dollar acquisitions.

Seager focuses mainly on internet-related IP issues, including portfolio management and strategy in relation to new gTLDs.

She also has experience as a panellist at the World Intellectual Property Organization and the Czech Arbitration Court.

Steve Immelt, CEO at Hogan Lovells, said: “Supporting and growing our internal talent pipeline is a key priority for Hogan Lovells and integral to offering our clients the highest quality service.”

He added: “It gives me great pleasure to promote from within and recognise the hard work and dedication of these individuals, who represent the quality, breadth, and depth of Hogan Lovells around the world, which no other law firm can match.”

“I congratulate all those who were promoted and wish them every success as they continue their career with us.”
