Winterfeldt IP opens in Washington DC

Winterfeldt IP Group, a new law firm focusing on brand enforcement and counseling, has opened its doors in Washington DC.

The firm is led by Brian Winterfeldt, who previously worked as co-head of the global brand management and internet practice at Mayer Brown.

Winterfeldt will work alongside 20 attorneys and IP professionals with experience in trademark portfolio counseling and management, brand-related internet presence and copyright.

On top of this, staff are experienced in domain and registry matters.

“We are excited to partner with our clients to build and protect their IP portfolios across all international jurisdictions,” said Winterfeldt.

“The specialised focus of the firm allows us to offer creative and practical solutions through a concierge-style approach.”

He added: “We aim to be the leading global solution for complex IP challenges from trademark portfolios to digital assets, such as domain names and social media. Our team is dedicated to learning about each client’s unique needs and to making the process of working with outside counsel as enjoyable as possible.”
