Bird & Bird nests with Incopro
Brand protection specialist Incopro has entered into a strategic partnership with international law firm Bird & Bird.

Bird & Bird will use Incopro’s Talisman technology as part of its suite of solutions, enabling clients to track and prioritise infringements on a global scale.

Intellectual property lawyers at Bird & Bird can now offer Talisman as an additional service to clients affected by online counterfeiting.

Talisman collects data about brand infringement, aggregates and analyses the data, and then provides tools for targeted enforcement action.

Phil Sherrell, partner at Bird & Bird, said: “The IP infringement landscape has fundamentally changed in recent years.”

“Identifying and removing counterfeit goods and copyrighted content is now a challenge dispersed globally on the internet.”

He added: “The integration of Talisman and in particular its strategic approach to connecting clusters of counterfeiters will enable us, and our clients, to take far more decisive and impactful enforcement action.”

Helen Saunders, head of intelligence and operations at Incopro, said: “We’re thrilled to be working with Bird & Bird.”

“Bird & Bird understands the complex infringement landscape out there and we’re delighted our technology will now enable its clients to receive a comprehensive answer to the problem.”

She added: “Technology is transforming legal services and it’s great to see a firm like Bird & Bird embrace this change.”

Incopro has entered into a range of Talisman-based agreements recently, including brand Ted Baker.
