Culhane Meadows bolsters IP department

Culhane Meadows has bolstered its intellectual property practice with five new partners.

Joe Bogdan, Lawrence Kass, Robert Klinger, Felicia Traub and Jingjing Ye will join the firm’s offices around the world, focusing on various aspects of IP law.

Bogdan will work out of the firm’s Chicago office, focusing on IP law in the entertainment, media, music and video games industries. He has experience in trademark and copyright prosecution, trade secret protection, as well as patent, trademark and copyright licensing.

Kass will be based in Culhane Meadows’s New York office and work on IP as it relates to the biopharma, chemical and manufacturing industries. He covers patents, trade secret litigation, corporate finance and technology transactions.

Klinger, Traub and Ye all join the firm’s Dallas office and work on a range of IP issues.

Klinger focuses on all aspects of IP ownership, development, management and procuring, enforcing and monetising large patent portfolios.

Traub works with trademarks and branding and previously worked as in-house counsel at Colgate-Palmolive.

Ye focuses on patents in the telecommunications industry and was in-house counsel at Samsung prior to joining Culhane Meadows.

Grant Walsh, co-managing partner of the firm’s Dallas office, commented: “In joining Culhane Meadows, these talented new partners further underscore our commitment to secure and protect our client’s IP assets nationwide.”

“Our innovative business model continues to attract lawyers from preeminent law firms seeking a better way to practice law. These five new partners add even more depth to our already distinguished roster.”

He added: “As we approach the 60-lawyer mark across our national offices, we are excited about new opportunities to deliver outstanding partner-level legal services more efficiently to major corporations and emerging companies at every stage of growth.”
