Cooley promotes five to partner


Cooley has made a round of 18 partner promotions, including five intellectual property attorneys across its Palo Alto, Boston and Los Angeles offices.

In Palo Alto, Angela Dunning, Daniel Knauss and Susan Krumplitsch have been promoted.

Dunning focuses on litigation across trademark, copyright, trade secrets and unfair competition disputes.

Knauss works in life sciences, covering patent infringement cases around a variety of technologies, including cancer medicines and antiviral therapeutics.

Krumplitsch also works in life sciences with an emphasis on patent litigation. She is experienced in trial, appellate and post-grant review proceedings at the US Patent and Trademark Offices.

In Boston, Adam Gershenson has been promoted to partner. He is experienced in trials and appeals involving unfair competition, patents, trademarks and trade secrets.

John Paul Oleksiuk was promoted in Cooley’s Los Angeles office. Oleksiuk has experience in trademark and copyright disputes at the federal courts, as well as in Uniform Domain-Name Resolution-Policy Disputes.
